Ghana’s Most Beautiful is arguably one of the most watched TV programs and the most watched beauty pageant in Ghana. The beauty pageant is aired on TV3, every Sunday at 8pm.
Aside the fact that the pageant is educative, it is also based on Ghanaian culture and aimed at educating Ghanaians and the world about the beautiful culture of the people of Ghana. This year’s motto is, “uniquely Ghanaian, Exceptionally African”. Perhaps, GMB is the only beauty pageant in Ghana aside Miss Tourism beauty pageant that portrays so much culture.
Last Sunday, contestants were tasked with performances that sought to educate the national populace about the Covid-19 pandemic. Though the theme of the performances was Covid-19, each of the beautiful queens had a distinct question and task to play, all geared at educating people about the novel corona virus disease.
Naa from the Greater Accra region gave an unexpected but creative performance that awed a lot of people and got them laughing. In her bit to educate people about the incubation period of the disease, which has caused great havoc to the world, she dressed as a supposed corona virus bragging about its prowess.
