According to CNR ( City news room ) on the 12/04/20 at exactly 21:27 GMT on their platform, the local production companies have commenced the production of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in Ghana as stated by the President in his last address to the nation.
Per the source, Minister of Trade, Alan Kyerematen, visited four Ghanaian garment manufacturing companies in Accra on Saturday, April 11, 2020.
The government on selecting, selected these companies to produce locally some personal protective kits for the frontline health workers and the nation as a whole to help reduce the spread of the deadly Coronavirus. Among the selected companies are Dignity DTRT, Sleek Garments, Cadling Fashions, and Alfie Designs Limited.
They are to produce also, some face masks, medical scrubs, hospital gowns and headgears using fabrics from ATL, Volta Star Textiles and GTP.
Just as the President of the Nation is doing his possible best to curb this pandemic from destroying this peaceful country, please do your part as a concerned citizen and stay home as much as possible.
